Welcome to Crossbridge Books. We
have been publishing Christian books since 1995. Many of our books
reveal the miraculous power of God, the Creator, through His Son
Jesus Christ. Most of them show how lives can be turned around,
from hopelessness to new zest for life as people have put their
trust in Jesus. A lot of the books include true stories of physical
healings from every kind of sickness or disability through prayer
in the name of Jesus, probably because Eileen Mohr witnessed at
first hand the ministry of Trevor Dearing during the years he spent
at Hainault in Essex. When preparing his books for publication
she handled large numbers of letters expressing the gratitude of
many of those who had been healed.
Although most of our books are Christian, we published a book by
E H (Ernie) Relf, A Well Brought Up Eastender, who was
Eileen Mohr's uncle. It is not a Christian book but it has about
2% Christian input. It is interesting from a historical point of
view, describing places in the east end of London which no longer
exist. And also from the human interest viewpoint, as Ernie's
story is surprising in many ways.
The other non-Christian book is a children's book, Thumbelina,
by Ruth Maria Tapp, which is a collection of 18 piano pieces together
with a story and pictures to colour. It was written to support the
BBC campaign Children in Need, performed by children using
simple ballet-style dances.
We anticipate that all
our future books will be Christian.
