LOST AT SEA, FOUND IN HEAVEN

The ARTHUR TAYLOR story

As told to BOB CRETNEY

The inspiring life-story of a boy whose father dies in a storm at sea

First published in Canada, this is the story of how a teenage boy whose life had been shattered by the death of his fisherman father discovers the reality of Christ. In spite of his poor language skills, he goes on to pass his exams at Bible College, and eventually becomes Chaplain of the Welland Canal Mission, involving evangelistic work on ships with sailors who speak one of fifty-five different languages.

It's a fascinating story, both from the human viewpoint and also that of the miraculous leading by God. The description of Arthur's boyhood will appeal to readers interested in children, parents will be impressed by the parenting skills of his father and mother with their seven children, and his later exploits on the ships are unforgettable.

A good read for both genders and very good for lukewarm Christians.
