She had picked up some of the pieces of paper along with the photograph, and her glance was caught by some letters,apparently written by someone trying out an anagram:
Indescribable feelings of curiosity, frustration and impotence struggled for supremacy within her. She marched down into the small dining-room where Edith had installed her compunicunit, box files and books as a study area at one end, and was now engaged in sorting her computer files into better order.
Celia cleared her throat to alert her aunt to her presence, then, in a voice she was striving to control, she asked, "And who might this be then?"
"Computer, save file and close," said Edith quickly, as the screen was querying Celia's question. Although the latter's intonation tended to be different from her aunt's, the machine had reacted to what it interpreted as the same vocal patterns.
